I seriously need to reconsider my job. All of my friends are becoming lawyers, doctors, etc, and I’m here stuck doing nothing. I feel so behind. But I don’t have the motivation or desire. The economy is going downhill once more, and I feel I need a lawyer to get me out of a messy situation. More money down the drain for me. Maybe I should have listened to my folks. Why is it that I’m super unlucky? Lotto won’t save me but a decent lawyer will…. sigh…

Someone bought a ring for my friend the other day from a really famous Jewelry store. It turns out the diamond was FAKE! How can this happen? Anyway, now she’s mad at her boyfriend for getting a fake, and he’s mad because he paid a lot of money for it, and the jewelers won’t take it back! They’re saying he switched the diamond! I don’t know who’s telling the truth… Everyone seems so shady these days….

Ok, so during this global financial meltdown, all I’ve done is increase my debt! I used my credit card to pay off hospital bills, daily groceries, gas, paying off other debt, etc etc. It seems like I can’t get the best APR like I used to. I think the best type of credit cards during this financial crisis are rewards cards. Since I’ve been using my Amazon rewards card so much, my bonus points are off the charts! Which means I get to get lots of free goodies from Amazon.com!

Home prices are continuing to decline in California for 2010. I want to sell my home, but I need to wait. How long? Hopefully not too long. Unaffected areas are Beverly Hills and Los Feliz. So the rich keep getting richer, and the poor keep getting poorer… Life is soooooo unfair!

Parking Ticket Dismissed!!

Yay, I got my parking ticket dismissed!
The officer issuing the parking ticket made some mistakes on the parking ticket.
So, I decided to contest it. I wrote a letter to the parking violations bureau in Los Angeles.

Here’s how I wrote the letter.

To the City of Los Angeles Parking Violations Bureau:

I found this parking ticket on my vehicle. The ticket lists “WI” (Wisconsin) as the state. My vehicle is registered in Massachusetts (MA) and has always had a Massachusetts license plate. Also, the ticket lists the car color as grey, but my car is brown/gold. Please advise me on what I should do.

After I sent the letter, I got a response saying they needed evidence. So, I took pictures of my plate and registration and sent them a second letter. It’s basically a repeat of the first letter.

After the 2nd letter with photos, I received a letter from the parking bureau saying my ticket was dismissed!

If you live in Los Angeles and there’s a mistake on the ticket, try contesting it!! You’ll save $53!!

I just got my first parking ticket in Los Angeles! Damn those confusing signs!! I’m going to try to contest the ticket because the officer wrote down some wrong information. $53 for a being 5 minutes late!! ARGH!

The movie was the best movie I have ever seen so far.

I was in the line for 9 hours at the Apple Store in glendale, CA.

I wouldn’t do that again, My legs were in pain for 3 days.

Anyway I arrived at apple store at 10 am. There was already long line.
Apple employee were very helpful, gave us updates every a few house and free water and ice cream.

There was some really annoying retards at the back of the line.
2 of the retards from that annoying group were offering money to people who are closer to apple store.

Then later they got busted and arrested. Sweet revenge.
